What we collect
When you complete our assessment, we collect the information you enter: your age range, the amount of cover you are looking for, your tobacco use, a general description of your health, your ZIP code, your first and last name, your phone number and your email address.
We also collect technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the advertising parameters attached to the link you arrived through (for example utm_source, fbclid or gclid).
When you submit the form we record the exact consent language shown to you, the date and time you agreed to it, and the page address where you agreed. We keep this as evidence of your consent.
Why we collect it

Who we share it with
Toby is a referral service. Sharing your information with an insurance agency is the entire purpose of the assessment. We are paid a fee by those agencies for each referral. You pay us nothing.
We also share information with service providers who operate our website, hosting, form processing, analytics and advertising on our behalf, and with advertising platforms including Meta and Google for measurement and audience purposes. We may disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
We do not sell your information to data brokers for unrelated marketing.
Calls, texts and emails
By submitting the assessment and ticking the consent box, you give your prior express written consent for Toby Insurance and its insurance agency partner to contact you at the phone number you provided, including by automatic telephone dialing system, prerecorded or artificial voice message, and SMS, about insurance products. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.
You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, telling the caller to stop calling, or emailing info@tobyinsurance.com. Revoking consent with Toby does not automatically revoke it with an agency you have already been referred to; contact them directly.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising pixels from Meta and Google, to understand how our site is used and to measure our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect how the site works.
